Now that is out of the way, the pros: 1000 polling. It glides very smoothly on mouse pad - like floating almost. Nice lighting around the base of the mouse - lighting can be customised with the Razer Synapse software. Each mouse button has it's own unique and slightly different sound (a little known fact). Click feel is perfect, and unlike certain Logitech mice there are no issues I am aware of about the clicks wearing out quick. Left/right wheel tilt adds extra 2 buttons. The two small buttons behind the wheel are also programmable (default is... 1st one: Scroll mode toggle - free wheel for long scrolling or tactile bumps for gaming and normal use, and... 2nd one: changing sensitivity which you can edit each one as well). Works on PS5 (except the front thumb button a.k.a. MB 6 and the left/right tilt wheel buttons, but that is the same with all gaming mice, and no you can't program them - PS5 just doesn't like it) cable is super soft and flexible as designed so it doesn't effect mouse movement at all. Price was VERY good for a high end gaming mouse that pretty much does everything the more expensive ones do.

Defaults to rainbow mode on lock-screen and start-up, or if you cant install the Razer fotware on the PC you are currently using (like a work laptop).
Cant even set it to a basic static colour or turn it off - rainbow only.
Every other mouse I have ever owned in the last ~10 years has had this basic function. Won't be wasting my money on razer products in the future.

Owned the Basilisk X Hyper-speed for about 2 years courtesy of a friend, and loved it. BUUUUT I do not like wireless mice, as having to go to a store to buy batteries which themselves are like 12-16 DOLLARS (blue energizers to be specific) is simply too much of a hassle. I never want to put in extra work for my mouse to function, my mouse should just work for me. Any-who I love this mouse, I have always enjoyed the shaping of this model, and the RGB and free-scroll mode are great extra touches for someone like me. I don't use side buttons that much, but they are a nice to have. If you like any form of the older basilisk mice, then BUY THIS BUT BE AWARE OF ONE POTENTIAL ISSUE - the extra side button they added is initially slightly annoying as my thumb can occasionally wrests on the edge of it, so if you have a long thumb or grip your mouse extra tight then potentially expect to touch that button. Its not that big of a deal to me after a few hours of usage though. Overall 8.5/10 apologies for the long winded but HONEST review.

Good mouse, been using it for around a year without issues. However, I'm not a fan of how heavy this mouse is compared to other mice I have previously owned. Love the button placement, size, and feel. I'm not into mood mice so this is a good all-rounder. I play games lots (elden ring, fps games, other multi-player games) and it's real good in just about everything. Only thing I don't like it the lmb and rmb can be a bit clacky, instead of clicky. Great product. I use for gaming and it’s great to have use of the extra thumb keys as well as the adjustable sensitivity and added key bindings if needed.
