Kiwi Design for META Oculus Quest 3 / 3S K4 Boost Battery Head wIth Dual Fast Charging

My last 1 star review for this product 'disappeared' let's see if this one does as well.
Brought two of these for a 3 and 3S. The headset itself is comfortable and much better than the original. However the battery will not switch itself off when the headset is charged which means if you leave the battery strap plugged into headset it will just flatten itself and try to overcharge the headset which is not good. It should have a current detection circuit or something similar to tell the strap battery when the headset is at 100% and stop charging to preserve the battery in the headset and the strap, it does not.

When I contacted Kiwi Design directly about this to ask if it was normal or if there was something wrong, it took over a week and and multiple messages from me before I got any response at all. They wouldn't answer any simple questions until I told them where I brought it from. Once I said I purchased from PB Tech they told me that they would not provide any support for products brought from PB Tech, only from their Shopify store???
They wouldn't even answer the question weather the charging behaviour was correct or not.
Because of this I will never buy another kiwi design product again, which is a shame as the headset itself is actually decent. If you're a fan of having backup/support for what you purchase I suggest you don't buy their products either.

I bought this to make wearing the Meta headset more comfortable - which it definitely achieves! The battery is important as a counterweight at the back and obviously also handy for extra playtime. The headset will still somewhat push into your face - but certainly not enough to bother me. If you don't want that, you probably need to go to a halo-type headstrap. I purposefully did not because these are said to be a lot less stable on your head during movement. So, for the exercise style games I plan on doing with the VR, I believe I picked the perfect compromise :D

This is a must have if you have a meta quest3
Extends the playtime by a couple of hours and is very comfortable, balances the weight of the metaquest across your head. This is a must have if you have a meta quest3
