I got this docking to work with Lenovo T490.
* Laptop is charging with a single USB-C cable.
* 2 Dell 4K monitors connected via Display ports. Note DP are 1.2 not 1.4 standard but I can extend desktop to two 4k screens both at 60Hz.
* USB-C port at the back does support Display 1.4 Alt mode. No need to use it yet as two DP are good enough.
* Fan can turn on sometimes and it stops after a while. You can hardly hear it though.
* There's no power button on the station which is not an issue at all.
* Headset with USB-A can be plugged in too. I got this docking to work with Lenovo T490.

For my M2 MacBook Air, install display link software, plug-in and work like a charm. I tested dual extended monitors no problem, have not tried 3x though.

Firstly my own fault for not checking, but this may also catch others out... There is no audio output plug! I'm now having to get clever about hooking up my speakers with a headphone jack.

Laptop dock was very easy to setup up and connect to 2 screens. Works perfectly for what I need it to do. No issues with screens recognising the dock when other laptops are connected.

For my personal use I would prefer 2 HDMI ports opposed to 2 DP ports, but I knew what I was buying so not the fault of the product.

I would recommend this for anyone looking for a full featured laptop dock. Great price compared to other similarly featured docks. Laptop dock was very easy to setup up and connect to 2 screens. This product met my needs perfectly with its two display ports. It is a Dell but it works perfectly well with my HP (even better after downloading the drivers). Excellent customer service as always. I purchased the Dell UD22 as my Lenovo docking station was dropping of the second screen from my ThinkPad. It has a number of peripheral accessories plugged into it including aux hd, second monitor, speakers, mic, webcam and Wacom pad, it all just worked. Very happy. Does just what I am after - if I'm home with my work laptop, plug one cord in and everything is working - screen, keyboard, mouse, internet, charging, etc. Then swap over to my home laptop; easy as.
