Bought two. Both broke down mysteriously

I bought the first one on 30-Sep-2021. It broke down mysteriously around 20-Jul-2022.
I bought the second one, on the same day. By Aug-2022, it too stopped working, all of a sudden !!!!

Their firmware seem to have a bug and don't get installed/loaded.
On linux, dmesg shows:

Great little wifi adaptor

Used this little adaptor to wifi my desktop PC via a USB port. Much easier and convenient than putting in a card and the performance great, done away with ethernet cable and more than adequate performance. Recommended

Good performance

This wifi USB works really well with Debian 12. It is not plug and play though, it requires a driver installation. Once the driver is installed , it works flawlessly. Linux driver is available from https://github.com/aircrack-ng/rtl8812au

Fiddly to setup, but good product

The product works great, but internet is necessary for the driver installation if your PC doesn't have a CD drive, which is a little annoying, but the product works great once it's set up.

Excellent 5G speed and easy install to Ubuntu Linux

There is some work to do to install to linux, but simple, and carefully described here:

There can't be much of an antenna in this tiny package, but 5G comes through a floor and gibbed wall with no trouble.
Have been using for about 3 weeks without a hint of any issues.
