The driver downloaded from the official website didn't work for my Windows 7 home edition 32bit. I downloaded Realtek_USB_Windows_WHQL_Driver_1030.17.1101.2016 from Realtek and installed it. Stronger strength than my built in network card, picked it up because my default chipset doesnt support packet injection. This one does, so if you need one for pentesting this is a good choice.

Got this to allow my desktop to connect wirelessly our slingshot broadband. Slingshot has 2.5ghz and 5ghz capable modem. This is a problem for this adapter. The setting can be changed to suit the adapter but it doesn't seem to be a permanent solution. I am looking at trying a different solution. Maybe a Wireless range extender with an 'TP-Link RE210 Dual-Band AC750 Wi-Fi Range Extender, 1 x GLAN, Support AP Mode' would better suit me and others like me because it works on both 2.4 and 5 ghz and has the Ethernet cable connection so you can plug it into the wall socket then into the desktop.. sounds perfect Got this to allow my desktop to connect wirelessly our slingshot broadband. Good now it's all go.. had issues with my slingshot - 2.4 and 5ghz modem. Had to disable the 5ghz option using gateway admin settings, now it's working. Yay. Maybe it's a brilliant device if you're using Win7 or 8.... But if you use Win10 you better think twice. I am having a lot of issue using this device for Win 10 64bit.
