I bought this adaptor to connect my desktop computer to our household WIFI at the other end of the house. I do get a signal but it is weak and regularly drops off - I was really hoping that it would be a bit better. My laptop picks up quick a reasonable signal in the same room. Just purchased this early today and works awesome. I've been having problems with my laptops internal wireless adapter and has caused annoying intermittent drops to my wifi connection.
