TP-Link TL-WN822N (N300) WiFi 4 High Gain USB Wireless Adapter

I've been using this for a couple of years now. It's very basic to set up, it's basically plug and play - once you set it up you just forget about it. It's got great coverage, I've used it in rooms that are on the other side of the house and it's never let me down. I'd recommend this to anyone who isn't able to install an adapter card into their desktop computer, or anyone who just wants the convenience of a portable adapter. This was so easy to install and get up and running on an older windows 7 pc, i was surprised with its ease of set up and actually has a good signal strength. This wireless adapter was bought to replace an older one which seemed a bit slow for modern internet use.
Wow, the new TP-Link was FAST. Over 20 times as fast as the old one. Its little antennas must help and the long USB cable enables you to place it the best position for WiFi reception.

Works fine on XP SP3, handy to have a CD to setup from. Long cord, 1.5 meters long. I would have liked holes in back for mounting to a wall, but double sided tape would work as unit is light.
