I bought this for my Asus laptop, an older model that doesn't have bluetooth. When I try to link the laptop to a speaker for watching movies, the sound quality is utterly untenable. The very average speakers on the laptop are still miles better than the crackle produced using this bluetooth dongle. I can connect wireless headphones to it with reasonable sound, but the range is not good, far less than the range with the same headphones and my phone. Don't waste your money. This Nano USB 4.0 BT adaptor worked in my Notebook, Desktop and the TV (Sanyo, a nice surprise given that USB compatibility for some TVs is not good). Works well with great distance. Have got a Steel Framed House and there is no impact on distance advertised when I walk away with my 350BT Headphones.
