Well the new mesh system is fabulous , now I get wifi all through the house and down the long drive way and all the way out the back of the house as before I never got that with the STD system router, to any one thinking of getting a mesh system I highly recommend it , I give it a 5 Star ratting . easy as to set up, only thing missing from the 3 piece pack is a way to hang it on a wall or put it onto the ceiling. It wasn't as easy to set up as I thought it would be, though I complicated things by making the network name and password the same as the previous modem so that we wouldn't have to reset every wifi device. This was mostly successful, once we got the mesh wifi system set up. Now that it is set up, it works well. This device works well in general but has a few notable issues:

-Certain firmwares apparently have latency issues with online gaming
-Lag could be caused by the computer that's playing the game being connected to a mesh AP that is more than 1 hop away from the router (each hop adds to delay/processing time)
-Using the device in router mode didn't work so well, some webpage images wouldn't load, so used it in AP mode with existing router (could have been firmware or end computer issue) This device works well in general but has a few notable issues:

While the instructions seem really simple, I did struggle with setup (and calling Vodafone to ask for some of the specs that I had to input about our internet type was not enlightening!)
Eventually managed to get it to connect to our internet by going through our old Vodafone router, which in turn is connected to the chorus ONT. I would rate 5 stars if I was able to get rid of the old router but none of TP-link’s online help had any suggestions for my problem.
In terms of operation once I did get it to connect, it has provided a strong and unbroken connection to every room of our two storey house.
