This product has been a (work) life altering purchase. Prior to installing the mesh network the wifi connection from my main living area to home office was terrible. Now instead of online meetings freezing and emails refusing to send I can comfortably continue to make myself available even after I should have stopped working at the office and started relaxing. Great product but if you like the excuse of shitty internet at home allowing you to switch off from work, probably skip this purchase. This product has been a (work) life altering purchase. Definitely worth the investment. It has increased the connectivity area massively and internet speeds seem to be alot faster and everyone receives equal speeds throughout the house.

I was about to get an electrician to hardwire cat6 cables throughout the house before we came across this. Even installing one module the wifi signal was by far greater than the stock Router. With all 3 modules installed the wifi over a 130m2 is full strength. Highly recommend. I was about to get an electrician to hardwire cat6 cables throughout the house before we came across this. Really good product, I'm super happy. The set up was a bit confusing as I was told that the device did not need to be plugged into a router, but one needed to be for them to connect (using an older Vodafone router so this may have be why), but otherwise was simple set up and easy to use app. The three I have used have boosted WiFi signal over a large area and through thick walls, and I plan on purchasing more to get the signal even stronger. I put this in to replace an orbi setup ( rbs50,rbr50).
Pure speed ( Ethernet ) m5 is faster than orbi.
I kept the telecom modem because like the orbi it just isn’t as fast as a modem/router/wifi. 900mbps speediest ( telecom +m5 ) dropped to 6-700 mbps ( m5 only & 80% cpu ), I might try an x60 as the core.
The wifi isn’t as powerful as orbi, but in line of sight 400+mbit ( orbi struggled with the walls in this house as well ).
I think orbi had more control ( you can’t change wifi channels on deco, but deco has cpu/ram usage ).

Discrete styling, easy to set-up and has provided WiFi to areas of the house that were previously "dead zones". Plenty of options for the more adventurous as well.
