It's a decent little case if you're not using your Pi 4 heavily.

It's fine for general prototyping here and there and I find that it is actually designed pretty well except for the fact that it doesn't have ventilation holes (but you can always lift the cover up easily).

Other than that, if you're a beginner just starting out and looking for a cheap case, this is pretty good for the money! It's a decent little case if you're not using your Pi 4 heavily.

I've used the PI 3b+ for home automation (Home assistant) and the 4 was the logical next step with the ability to boot natively from an SSD. I did find though that the processor does get very hot with the case closed (even with the heat sinks fitted - /product/SEVRBP0049/Raspberry-Pi-Aluminium-Heatsink-Set-for-Raspberry) I'd recommend going for an active cooling solution I've used the PI 3b+ for home automation (Home assistant) and the 4 was the logical next step with the ability to boot natively from an SSD. Performace-wise, I'd recommend this as it does provide more juice to the Pi (other unbranded ones often can't handle it and I get the lightning sign).

Playing around with making a home server, Samba, Apache, etc etc. made the thing stream music to a dedicated player, Just works. Surprising how little is needed Though I would use the 8 gig version for a future server. Though back in the day 10++ years ago I had less powerful machines doing the same job (memory and CPU).

It is strongly advised a cooling solution is needed, I bought heat-sinks fan and a case... what more can I say!
