I've found it's ok for running just the Pi but adding the touchscreen (7" official, also sold here as I write) seems to generate enough load the voltage drops and the Pi4 shows the lightning bolt indicating that the Pi is being run under-voltage, which is a bit of a shame. Great performance and stability. I'm running my home nextcloud setup via docker with Ubuntu server 20.04 on this Pi with boot via USB. Initially I went with a USB stick but it didn't give me good performance, so had to connect an external HDD via usb, and that solved the disk I/O slowness issue. I bought a casing with two-fans for this to make it better. All in all, good setup for home NAS, Mediaceter type of work. Running weeks now and no issue so far. Recommend for DYI stuff. This little computer just works as I expected out of the box - low energy consumption, silent as well as small.
Great value for money and many uses planned for it in addition to my initial project.
I had this for about three weeks now and it's fantastic.
The connectivity into & out of this device is way more than I require but it's great to have all the usual, wifi, bluetooth , Gigabit LAN, HDMI & USB connections and the GPIO to drive external circuits is a bonus. I have nothing negative to say about this product at all. This little computer just works as I expected out of the box - low energy consumption, silent as well as small.
