TP-Link Tapo Smart Button (S200B)

I have several Tapo sensors with their hub, they work great and was very hopeful this button would be used to trigger scenes and automations I have set up but, unfortunately, this button with dial cannot be used to control devices such as lights that aren't also Tapo.

The Tapo hub will expose the button over Matter as it does with its other devices which is a very cool feature from Tapo and their website says this is Matter certified, however, this device does not share button events or any data this way. I am using Home Assistant but this would affect any system using Matter and even the Tapo integration is unable to see button events because of the aforementioned technical implementation. Apparently it works with Alexa but that's it, not Google, SmartThings nor IFTTT.

Other than that, it's a nice, compact size, good quality feel (the rotation clicks could offer a little more resistance though) and reasonably priced.

A good device, nice having both the dial and press button function, Was a little tricky to set up in the app, but relative to other systems, very simple.

I love that I can mount this anywhere easily as it's magnetic and can turn off different sets of light with single push and double push. I love that I can mount this anywhere easily as it's magnetic and can turn off different sets of light with single push and double push.
