Product works exactly as needed. It is difficult to see on the image on pbtech, however there is in fact an indicator light on the powerswitch indicating whether the board is protected and if the board is not grounded.

Remember that powerswitches are hardly a good surge protector on their own, and need to be paired up with a UPS or whole house surge arrestor. Product works exactly as needed.
