I purchased a power board for roughly the same price I purchased the Belkin six months ago from a competitor of PB's. For the price I should have had piece of mind but instead I had the opposite. If you tapped or moved the board it would turn everything off. If you wriggled one of the plugs you'd hear a buzzing static sort of noise. Soon as the Belkin board arrived in the bin went the old one.
With the Belkin, no buzzing, no accidently knocks turning everything off. Complete piece of mind with another quality item from PB Tech. 10/10. Kind of pointless to have USB charging on the floor as cable doesn't reach up my desk to my phone however. Its a power surge protector, seems to do the job.

I was looking for a one fix solution to power up all devices whilst looking at protecting the devices from electrical surges. This was a great purchase indeed, as it has inbuilt surge protector and can load up to 8 devices plus 2 USB ports as well. Love this power board and it has an okay joule rating. Although I would’ve preferred to have known its surge protection response time to see if it was below a nanosecond which is desirable. Because of this I’ll still unplug my devices in the event of a lightning strike to be on the safe side. Love this power board and it has an okay joule rating.
