TP-Link Tapo C225 4MP/2K+ Indoor PT Wi-Fi Camera

I bought the Tapo brand as I already had the app loaded from other products.
The operation and features of the camera are excellent, super easy to set up, clear picture and
the motorised pan and tilt work well, as does night and day vision.

Far exceeds expectations. I have it set to turn on the light and sound an alarm only when it detects a person. It then records this and notifies me. Bought this to keep an eye on our indoor dog when we are out. It picks up dog barks and notifies us. Very good resolution, pan and tilt works well. I ordered my Tapo C225 on line for PBTech and found their service quick and pricing competitive. The Install was quick and simple. The Tapo C225 Camera is used in my family/work room and makes checking on our two dogs a breeze, When we are away it becomes part of the Tapo Security setup. The infrared mode is a amazing. An excellent product sold by a well manged company!

I love the c225 and it's reviews that much that I bought 2 of them. PB were, as always, very responsive and postage was super fast. I have a single C225 feeding detection events to a Raspberry Pi4 via the C225's ONVIF and RSTP feeds (using a python/ffmpeg script I cobbled together). It works well. I bought this model because I can use the button to turn off monitoring when at home and enable it when going out - it's reassuring to see the camera fold away. The Android app is quite nice. The person detection is very good. I wish it had a wired ethernet port and POE, then it would be perfect, but very impressed with it as it is.
