Cruxtec CH01-SG USB-C Aluminium Mulitport Mini Docking

I had purchased this for my Macbook Air and it does not work at all. I have plugged it into my USB-C port and none of the docking ports are working. Sorely disappointed. it turns out it only support charging phones,

I bought one of these hubs today, it was working for 2 minutes and died. Terrible quality, avoid it by any means. The only positive I returned as faulty product, got refunded straight away. This didn't work at all on my Macbook Pro.
I would not recommend this USB Hub.
I was connecting external MIDI devices and it would initially detect the hub and connected devices and then it would disappear after about one second after plugging it in.
I didn't try the HDMI connection on it but I wouldn't have high hopes on that working either.

If you are looking for an alternative (although this comes with ethernet instead of HDMI), I was able to replaced it with this similarly priced one which did work as expected (Thank you PB Tech for making refund/replacement easy);

Works fine for all I need. I thought the USBC was supposed to output power but it doesn’t. The HDMI out has glitched a couple of times but I can just unplug and plug back in and it works fine.
