Oh they work, don't get me wrong, but you'd best buy half a dozen. The whole weight of the input cable is on the mini end of the adapter. This is only about 2mm thick so the slightest wobble will bend or break it. Move a nearby cable and whoops, it's gone again. Just rebooted my Pi, bumped the adapter, and that's another one for the bin. Oh they work, don't get me wrong, but you'd best buy half a dozen.
