Plugged this adapter into the USB-C port on my Dell laptop running Windows 10, hooked up the HDMI to the monitor via an HDMI - DVI-D adapter, and the screen lit up right away, no drama. Now i'm able to use 3 monitors at the same time (including the built in screen, and the existing HDMI output on the laptop)

Have been using it now for 3 weeks, every single day. Not a hitch. However, do think it's a bit pricey as similar products are available from other retailers for much less; however, stuck to PB tech because of past experience. Got our little boy a Chromebook ala "working from home" - it came only with USB type C ports and USB A, and now he has a 65" screen to do Zoom meetings in lol. To our pleasant surprise, It's "plug and play", absolutely no set up was required. By the way it's Search-Alt-M in ChromeOS to move apps between screens.
