I used it for less than a week when it broke. At first it was fine, but it is too brittle and half of it remained in the other device when pulling it out. What can I say. Absolutely pathetic. It lasted for 2 uses and broke. Would never purchase again and highly recommend no-one else does either. $ down the drain at an expensive time of the year. The adapter allows any accessory with a USB-C male connector to plug in to a conventional USB-A socket, such as one of the inputs to a USB hub. I use mine to connect another, larger USB hub to one of the inputs to a J5Create hub that has 3 USB-A sockets, thereby allowing a "daisy-chain" of the two hubs, while occupying only one of the MacBook Pro's 3 USB-C connectors. We bought this for our daughter Macbook Air because it doesn't have a USB port and this thing is freaking awesome. The price is nothing to complain about either.
