PB sell others that didn't hold up to this. This one had the lowest noise floor (coil wine can be an issue) of the few I tested.
Incredibly, my laptop doesn't have a traditional mic input, so this was a must for better audio recording/conferencing using an external mic as opposed to the built in one. I purchased this adapter because my headset's original cable that plugged into my PC had an issue where the desktop audio would quietly play through the mic, which was annoying when I was listening to music while on a call in Discord. The USB audio adapter has finally solved the issue for me! I originally bought this dongle for two purposes, one was to replace the broken headphone jack on my laptop, and the second was to have both an input and an output working at the same time on a different device.

For replacing the headphone jack, it works fantastically, works on both the New M1 Macs (with another dongle) and Windows, and Linux, so its bound to work with anything you chuck at it. I have used it for about 1 week of constant use, and at no point did I notice any problems audio quality wise.
