The Axium AXKPCN keypad is a programmable 2.8" colour LCD Touch screen. Being capable of learning and sending IR commands the KPC2.8-N can be used as a standalone keypad to control virtually any IR controlled device.

This new network version can be connected via a PoE network switch or via the RJ45 port connected to an amplifier keypad port. When used with an Axium Multi-Zone Amplifier full 2-way feedback of source selection, power, mute & volume status is provided. Full 2-way RS232 and IP control are available when connected to an Axium AX-R4D/R1D RS232 router and the prebuilt Axium applets. Setup by the Axium Design Portal software, the KPC2.8-N includes a host of features to simplify programming and enhance amplifier and source equipment control.

Flexible Installations

The KPC-N can be powered either by PoE or via the legacy RJ45 port. The KPC-N comes packaged with a WHITE faceplate in the traditional full-size wall plate or the EURO square finish. Both PORTRAIT and LANDSCAPE installations are supported.

Full 2-way compatibility

Connect directly to the Axium AX-1250 or the AX-Mini4 for full 2way communication out of the box. The KPC-N now offers direct control of IP devices. Some of the Axium 2-way applets will also fully function without the need for any additional Axium hardware. One way control of IP devices is available including sending TCP and IP Link commands as found on many Projectors and Commercial Displays. Adding either an R1D or R4D controller provides feedback from a variety of 3rd party devices via IP or RS232. Of course there is also one way control of just about any device you can think of.

Not just for Axium

The KPC-N is also flexible enough to be used as a standalone keypad controlling an endless amount of IR and IP controllable equipment. Consider using one as a zone 2 controller on your next job or a standalone controller for a boardroom or classroom!
