Good little box that has enabled me to connect my speakers to my tv from an optical out to a 3.5mm in.

Only issue I have found is that when you turn off the device sending signal is turned off, and stops sending a signal, you get a lot of noise from the device. which means the speakers have to be turned off also. Works well. Using this on a samsung OLED TV and no issues.
Sound conversion is perfect to convert the sound from optical to 3.55mm Audio so that i can run from Logitech THX speakers from the TV Works well. Using this on a samsung OLED TV and no issues.

This little thing has allowed me to keep my great speakers going at home with a newer TV. Way cheaper than swapping to a newer set of poorly made speakers. Works as intended. Only down side is that you have to adjust volume through the output device and as the stereo is from the 80's it means getting up and adjusting the volume knob. Totally worth it for the sound quality. Works as intended. After buying a smart TV, found the only way to connect my amplifier and speakers to it was with an optical to RCA converter. Plugged it all in and it worked seamlessly. This works well for me to connect a newer TV, which doesn't have RCA output or HDMI output, to an older media player/amplifier that doesn't have TosLink digital optical input and needs RCA input. This adapter has stereo RCA outputs as well as 3.5mm stereo output. It can take multi-channel input, but only provides 2-channel stereo output. That's all that is needed to get further use of older media player /amplifiers, that you may have connected to good quality speakers still providing good sound. Needed to convert TV signal to analog so I could utilise high quality speakers, so I have a much fuller sound from TV. Works well.
