I bought this cable so I could watch movies on a hotel TV that were stored on my Lenovo P11 tablet, assuming I wouldn't be able to cast to the hotel TV but would be able to reach an HDMI port. It turns out this was the case. I was surprised how well this cable works especially considering the cost and would recommend it as a great back up for casting. I bought this cable the 25th March 2022 and by 10th May 2022 it was sufficiently faulty to be considered a dead cable. The cable worked 50% of the time when plugged directly into the laptop however, when plugged into the dock, the cable simply wouldn't work. The cable was essentially static due to its use in a dock and it couldn't even handle static use before breaking. Spend a little more money and get a quality cable.
