Unitek Y-3004 USB 3.0 USB Extension Cable - 5m

I initially bought passive dynamix 5m usb 3.0 extensions, however they had severe signal loss, and I could only get SOME usb 2.0 devices to work. I ended up purchasing these active cables instead and everything is now working as expected. I tried a speed test and I'm getting around 200MB/s transfer, which is what I get directly plugged into my pc without the extension so no loss there.

Keep in mind these cables do not include the optional 5v power adapter. Seems messy I know. Anyway, so far everything is working brilliant! It's only used for periferals and not storage. Beat part of the extension cable is the ability to add power to it via the plug on the female end to boost signal. I was having issues on a standard USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 5m cable both on a USB hub and then running individual cables. The gear was giving glitches because of the individual cables and the hubs. I tired one of these and have since had no issues with any of the gear over this distance so have changed each hub to one of cables and everything works flawless.
