I am not very tech savvy but this camera/ mic was so easy for me to operate. I plugged in the USB to the hard drive and away I went .. able to join in to a zoom meeting I was signed up for. I've been using this webcam for about 2 weeks & overall it's great, it replaced a Logitech C520 720P cam that died after a year. It has a very clear picture & nice wide angle, also haven't had any issues with the mic & people have always been able to hear me. Only downside is there is no software for it & I wish there was a way to adjust brightness & contrast as they seem a little off at night, but it's a small thing & overall an excellent purchase for the price. I picked up the A4Tech Webcam for office purposes, the 1080p output once set in camera settings were good for meetings but the audio quality of the mic on the device is not clear and directional. I personally use my headphone mic instead of the built-in mic due to this weakness. The deal for the product was good so great value for a single-purpose webcam. I was looking for a basic, 1020p web camera for video conferencing and this product does that very well, at a great price. There's no need to spend hundreds of dollars on an expensive camera unless you have a specific need for other features. Otherwise, this one works great and has a good quality picture and an acceptable microphone. Recommended!
