This sata enclosure works well with both ssd and hard disks. When used with the lexar ssd purchased together, large files (10-20GB) can be saved in literally minutes (20GB in 2min, personally tried), making this a really handy tool for backing up large files. I needed an external HD case for an old 2.5" drive . This was perfect as the top cover just popped off and you slid the drive in and put the cover back on. I didn't realise these things existed, and I'm glad I found this one. A handy little gadget to have around.
Simply ideal to extract data from older ssd's or 2.5in sata hdd's and transfer it to the up-to-date computer or to whatever takes a USB plug.
PB Tech, as usual speedily efficient. I particularly like the way I'm taken to my bank to transfer the funds there and then. Saves a lot of time!
