I chose this enclosure particularly because of its support for both SATA (NGFF) and NVMe protocols. I haven't tried using it with an NVMe drive yet (that's coming up) but operation with a 2280 SATA drive was perfect.

I will use it as a test enclosure, where a drive will be loaded for data recovery or similar purposes. In this scenario, though, using the included heat sink is not really an option, as it's supposed to be stuck to the drive using the included thermal strip.

The manual provided is multi-language and covers several different enclosure models. It includes just enough info. One last point - the drive securing "pin" is easily dropped, especially when removing a drive!

Overall, a good option if you need the flexibility. For a semi-permanent drive assignment, other choices might work better.

Most of the other drives i looked at only support up too 4tb.. which is why i went with this one
it is a toolless comes with a thermal pad and a mini heat sink.. speed wise it works fine (for just random video and image dumps) i think better then some external drives depending on what you put in it anyway

took a bit too figure out you push the rear end too unclip it so you can put the ssd in.. easy install and apart from the cable i had not being anything but broken.. it has a type c too type a adaptor as well..
