I purchased this for my brother as a replacement to a 360 liquid cooler of all things - multiple fans had died on it and the pump was beginning to go.
I opted for cooler master as none of their cooling products have failed me in the past, and I can happily say that streak has continued.

Despite it's price tag the Hyper 612 feels as premium as an NHD15, and is just as easy to install.
It looks even better in person, and is keeping my brothers 2700X around the 55 degree mark even under load, at more than acceptable rpms.

Looks great and performs VERY well. I had a problem with the split connector for the fans and didn't know it. Was running without fans and the heatsink itself was able to dissipate the CPU heat under non-gaming loads - without the fans spinning - keeping temps under 80C. Figured out the problem (fans are now plugged into the CPU and OPT CPU fan headers - the splitter was at fault) and my 265k runs about 80C under stress testing.
The only thing to watch is that the retention screws have to be pushed really hard to engage the bracket mounted on the MB - harder than you'd think is necessary. Looks great and performs VERY well.
