NH-L9x65 chromax.black - 65mm height low-profile cooler
The NH-L9x65 chromax.black is an all-black version of the award-winning NH-L9x65 low-profile cooler, which covers a middle ground between the larger NH-L12 series and the ultra-compact NH-L9i and NH-L9a series. With 65 instead of 37mm height and four instead of two heatpipes, the NH-L9x65 is more powerful than its smaller siblings yet retains the NH-L9i's 95x95mm footprint, which not only guarantees 100% RAM and PCIe compatibility on current motherboards but also makes the cooler more convenient to work with as it doesn't overhang near-socket connectors. Due to its compact heatsink and the 14mm thin NF-A9x14 low profile fan, the NH-L9x65 stands only 65mm tall (the same height as low-profile expansion cards), which makes it ideal for use in compact HTPCs or Small Form Factor cases that offer limited clearance for CPU coolers.
100% RAM compatibility
With its compact 95x95mm footprint, the NH-L9x65 does not overhang the RAM slots on Intel LGA1851/LGA1700/LGA1200/LGA115x and AMD AM5/AM4 based motherboards, which ensures easy access to the modules and 100% compatibility with DIMMs that feature tall heat-spreaders or RGB lighting.
100% compatibility with PCIe cards
Many mini-ITX motherboards have the PCIe slot sitting close to the socket zone. While larger coolers that exceed this zone are likely to block the PCIe slot, the 95x95mm sized NH-L9x65 provides full compatibility with PCIe cards, be it on ATX, microATX or ITX.
