Outstanding performance for the price
Highly recommend this SSD. It just comes basic in small box with paper manual and a small screw. You can download the Lexar DiskMaster software which was much better than I expected.
Speeds were as advertised and have installed Win11 on it and having no issues.
Ohh and this model comes with a good quality heat spreader. Has a bit of weight to it so you know its real metal.
Great price to performance
Happy with my sale purchase. Needed more space for my gaming library. Bought it for my laptop. Easy removal of the heatsink to fit.
Great performance for the price!
After considering the other manufacturers incl Crucial, Samsung, HP and WD, checking speeds, cache and TBW, the Lexar NM790 2TB came in at a great price for the performance specs.
The Lexar NM790 uses Triple Layer Cell (TLC) instead of Quad Layer Cell (QLC) so its supposed to be more reliable in the long term *fingers crossed.
Having the integrated heatsink was also handy in my use case, because my motherboard didn't come with an additional NVME heatsink. A retention screw was provided in the packaging.

On par if not as good as Samsung
Honestly, this is basically identical to Samsung's 980 SSD's, except I love it and have had 0 issues, at all.
Definitely a must have for any Lexar SSD size.

Got it on black Friday sales and it works well. Just note it has its own Heatsink that cannot be removed.
