Super Fast!
This drive is VERY small, light, and is superfast. Just the thing I needed for a Mac Book Air with only 512GB memory, yet I can process images and videos in real time.
Great value for money & very compact size
Very small and compact size, good speed when operating between hard drives for data transfer. Haven't utilised any of the software functions, but great product for general use!
Did the job I was hoping
I was able to backup all the photos from my iPhone directly onto this device directly without having to use the Cloud or other Apps.
Using it for video editing
I’m stoked with its performance - editing in 4K with no issues at all. No more proxy files. Highly recommended.
Does what it says
Not a bad product, but the plastic housing feels very cheap.
Aesthetics aren't the greatest as long as you don't mind.
Downloaded the transcend programme to my laptop but keeps crashing when trying to open.
Good but...
Before buying this one I had an earlier model of Transcend SSD that worked brilliantly until it stopped mounting on my Sonoma Mac. After a lot of toing and froing I discovered that my Mac didn't like the SSD's exFat format. So I've been advised to format this one APFS which of course means I can only use it on Mac. Other than this, great EXHDD.
Mint! Stable, fast and really light weight
I found this SSD to be fast, light weight and really stable. I run Maya scenes off it and i haven't found any issues with lag/crashes (other than the usual Maya issues). Super easy to take all my scenes, rigs and envios to other computers.
