The 4tb drives are always a good price per TB. If you don't need a lot of space the 2TB drives are fine, but the 4TB drives are almost always better value. They are small and portable, but have enough size to hold thousands of high resolution photos and a lot of raw video footage. I have purchased a lot of WD drives over the years and have never been disappointed with the quality.

Not as fast as a portable SSD but unless you really need the speed, or something rugged that can survive being dropped or bounced around a lot, they are much better value.
