LA CROSSE V30v2 Personal WIFI ACCUWEATHER Weather Station

Very easy to set up and had no trouble syncing with the La Crosse app. The app is a bit clunky to use and does not display all the information that is on the unit like Barometric pressure which would be useful. The reason I chose this model over the top of the range was it had Barometric pressure which the top model does not. Go figure. The chill factor is not accurate and the UV index is not accurate which are probably the two things you look at before going out. Temperature, humidity and rain fall seem to be accurate. Having the outdoor temperature sensor as a separate unit was a big plus for me because other stations have the wind, rain and temperature sensors in one place and you end up with the temperature of the outdoor unit not the actual air temperature.

Third weather station of La Crosse i have purchased, had two of cheaper model, one replaced under warranty, second one lasted a day and stopped connecting to internet, got my money back. so far this one is working ok. This weather station was a waste of time for me. Did everything I could to connect to my wifi (2.4Ghz band and no way would it recognise the weather station. I am running IOS and have the latest upgrade of Apple software and suspect La Crosse App not compatible but could be wrong. Emailed La Crosse for help and my time they got back to me had returned it. Still waiting for my refund from PB Tech a week later and even got stung 10% of purchase price for the privilege of returning it.
