Ninja Luxe Cafe Premier Espresso Machine

The machine is quite lovely to look at: compact, tidy and contained.
It is unfortunately also quite loud, the coffee is too cold and it seems to lack a preheating function - each step of the coffee making process takes a long time before execution starts. I understand that steps are staggered as it has a single boiler and so there is some loss of heat. But this is a really slow machine! Also wastes a lot of water - I have to empty the drip tray at least twice a day.
On the other hand, the milk foams nicely and consistently. The cold foam function is superb, though I have not tried the filter coffee or cold beverages function..

Not what I expected of Ninja - they are usually quite technologically advanced and clever, so unsure that I'll recommend it, although the price was good.

By automating every step, the machine has overcomplicated the process and, more critically, compromised the actual taste of the coffee.
