Background: - Ear buds fall out in 3 seconds, headphones make my ears sweaty when walking and I need music to distract my brain from how boring things like cleaning are.

Shokz - are a life saver!! - I have been using them in one form or another from 2020.
I had gen 1 and they are good - well worth it, super comfortable(have fallen asleep in them) and the 5min charge is super useful for my ADHD brain that forgot all about charging them until 5 min before I walk out the door in the morning.

Gen 2 has silicone exterior which is easy clean and overall smoother and more comfortable(I didn't think it was possible but it is) the Mic boom action is smoother and tucks over my ear when not in use. The addition of the Mute button is fantastic and it has a vocal indicator of when you have it on and turn it off.
Super useful for listening to music on low while in meetings that should have been an email....

Cons:
when you start it up and put it into pairing mode it does not tell you that it is in pairing mode so you do have to take them off to pair.
When you start wearing them if people are not in the know then they will low key think you now have hearing aids
If you have long hair there are hair styles that will not work with these because of the wrap-around band, but this hasn't been a huge one for me.

I bought this to replace my broken headset and it’s been good so far. It can last me up to two and a half days before the battery is announced to be low.

It said it allowed up to two devices connected though it’s hard to switch to which device it should be connected to unless i try to re-pair but the pair button, volume up, and the power off button are the same so instead of holding it to set it to pair, it turns off and you can only pair it if you hold the button to turn on and continue to hold it to pair.

If you are using it full-on (talking and listening) we get 5 to 6 hours which is good for the tech but in practice so much of our work is online now and we don't want wired devices. Just have to remember to charge them. The saving grace however is that when you put it on charge for maybe 15mins you get 2 or so hours back in the action. So schedule breaks and charge and it is not a problem. There are some great adapters that fit on the end of a usb-c so you can have charging on a normal cable.

The Mute button turns off both sound and microphone. a useless feature.
The volume up/down buttons are so loud they are startling- they do not change with the volume level and are always loud.
The headset is not adjustable for comfort.
After wearing for a few hours intermittently, they caused a rash and cant use without a severe reaction. Makes me itch thinking about it.
The options are so confusing - went with the non-dongle - which costs $100 more internationally which is needed for firmware updates.
Doesnt connect to the Shokz app.
