Features

Machinery Grey rPETG 3D printing filament, 1 kg, 1.75 mm (±0.05 mm tolerance), made from 100% recycled plastic. The raw material is post-industrial scrap from the manufacturing of restaurant menu holders, store display cases, and similar products.

PETG prints almost as easy as PLA, but has a higher temperature resistance. PETG can take close to boiling water temperature without deforming. This means that you can use it for parts in your car, for example.

Made in New Zealand, including the all-cardboard spool, the box, the bag, the label, and the instruction card.

Recommended settings: Nozzle: 240-250°C. Bed: 70-85°C.

A few things to keep in mind when you print PETG

  • PETG is almost as easy to print as PLA. It has low odour and doesn't warp.
  • PETG parts can handle higher temperature than PLA parts. PLA softens at around 60°C, while PETG can handle almost boiling water temperature without deforming.
  • PETG is much more sensitive to humidity than PLA. Store the spool in the plastic bag when you don't use it, and keep the relative humidity in your printer room or printer enclosure below 45% during printing. For best print quality, dry the filament before use. Even a freshly opened spool may have absorbed moisture through the bag during storage and shipping. The necessary drying time depends on the amount moisture absorbed, but 50-55⁰C for 4-8 hours is a good starting point. If stringing and popping issues remain, extend the drying time.

7 day right of exchange

If you change your mind after making a purchase, or realise you have ordered the incorrect item, you can enjoy the peace of mind that we offer a 7 day exchange policy.

To exchange a product, goods must be sealed / unopened, with packaging in original condition, and accompanied by a valid receipt dated no more than 7 calendar days from when you request an exchange.

If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase.

Please note, items purchased on finance cannot be exchanged for a gift card.
