Dell KB216 580-AHHG Business Multimedia Keyboard

I'm very happy with this keyboard, it has a good mix of simplicity and features and if it broke I'd go buy another one tomorrow.

Pros:
1. Short key travel/nice feeling keys
2. Media Playback shortcut keys
3. Nice key font
4. Slim and minimalist look

Cons:

The keyboard does its job. It types, and there isn't a noticeable delay, unless you are playing a game or something. It doesn't feel nice to type on, but that is to be expected with a keyboard that costs less than a meal at a fast food restaurant. Different keys have different pressures, which is very annoying, they aren't sitting in place properly so they can get stuck or not register a click at all, the spacebar is especially awful.

Got a couple of these one for mum when the one she currently has loses all the letters on her keys, so not sure if she will find the same issue as me, as she's used to the same sort of keyboard where the keys are high up & you can see between them & stuff gets in, which is why mine needs replacing.

This would not happen with this one as the keys are very low & they don't have that issue because they are basically keys on the board. So you see the board between the keys. I'm a gamer & also touch matters to me so it just didn't work so I got a different one from pbtech which is a lot better for me. I used this one until I got that one so I survived a few days with it but my gaming did suffer a bit with it because of the low keys issue.

For those where that doesn't matter I would presume it would be fine. I can't really comment more than that or even on whether the letters etc stay on but they did with my other dell. Have to wait until mum decides to use hers with her fast typing to know about that.

Was priced low enough didn't bother returning it so ok for back ups as well.
