I used to have 2 sets of the wireless model of MS ergonomic keyboard&mouse, and this time I bought this because the wireless model has so prone to minor malfunctions. I broke my hand and need proper keyboard to help while it's healing. This really good in putting your hand in right position. At first quite hard to use it but now it's just same as other keyboard and easy to use. What a like the most is the quick command that you could assign in [1, 2, 3] button in keyboard. the keyboard is great, quiet and solid, the wrist rest is actually a soft foam instead of rubber / cloth coated materials so quite comfortable. the shortcut keys are useful. keeps wrist straight and loose.

The keyboard takes some getting used to but is overall very comfortable. The mouse also feels great to use.
As far as ergonomic keyboards go this seems to be the best bang for your buck.

That you are comfortable typing on this style of keyboard. Sure it is inclined to match the resting angles of your wrists and hands yet to use the board feels completely unnatural and weird. Expect a slowing of your words per min, an increase in typo's etc until you adapt. If you have used flat keyboards and are proficient with them, i would recommend steering clear of this model unless you wish to challenge yourself and learn a new skill.

The pad which the wrist rests on is not wide enough on the left side. It may suit smaller hands and wrists and those who have a tight, disciplined typing style. In conclusion i feel the wheel has been reinvented here with the simplicity now replaced with overly thought out problems being solved. Definitely designed for a niche market.
