Microsoft Bluetooth Desktop Keyboard & Mouse Combo - Monza Grey

I really wanted to like this keyboard as it's got a sexy form factor, but the truth is it's harder to type on compared to your standard Logitech alternatives, and is a right pain to wake up or activate. I use it for my laptop when at work, and it won't wake / connect unless I wake up the laptop directly on the laptop itself. This compares quite poorly to a conventional wireless dongle based set-up where one click of the mouse, or of the keyboard, gets you going. At other times I'd like to start start typing, but the keyboard isn't connected for some reason, and I have to wait for it to do it's thing - very time consuming. Also I'm a big user of print screen to copy and paste into paint etc, and there's no print screen button ! No solution on line or from PB Tech ( who did try admittedly ), found something on a user forum windows + shift + s.

Also once you're used to conventional looking keyboard, the keys are spaced too far apart for fast typing in comparison.

Like I say, cant wait to get back to a usb dongle based set-up. The tip is to buy a unifying dongle set up, so if you lose the dongle it can easily be replaced.

This is exactly what I wanted and works really well with my surface. One slightly annoying thing is the 'click' sound on the mouse - and I can't get an answer how to turn it off. I bought it for my surface book 3 in the office. Perfectly working, no wire to worry about. The sense of clicking is great! I bought it because of the colour and how it looks simple. Looks nice too in real life too.

A nice comfortable low cost Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, the keyboard could do with some more elevation at the back - doesn't have any feet to raise up.

My SP has just one USB port, which I find to be a constant hassle, as I don't like carrying USB hubs around. So I have this at my desk.

One small caveat I found is with Bluetooth keyboards generally there tends to be a small lag to wake the machine, but this is a Windows thing. Something to get used to. This mouse & keyboard set is attractive and feels good over long work sessions.
