No to be used for extending display to different screens

No doubt this is a good product but I do wish that I had known that the HDMI splitter will not spilt your displays across two different monitors, it will only duplicate the display across the monitors. I.e if you have 2 monitor screens and a laptop screen, the 2 monitors will show the same displays. You will need to get the 'USB Bus Powered - Video Splitter for Extended Desktop Mode on Windows PCs Only' to be able to work on different displays

Bought for two projectors

Used it a corporate event where they needed two projectors on either side of the room. Having the cable built in is handy and makes things super tidy.

Used the optical 20m lead with this unit, works fine. Also used another 20 standard HDMI lead for the other projector and that worked great too. No stuttering, the lead lights to show HDMI activity is handy. Made well.

Also staff at New Market PB Tech are really helpful.

Unstable

Used this for 5 days but it continually dropped signal even when one channel not used. Returned product but did not seek a replacement. May have been just this faulty unit.
