The MiniArt 2-39001 1/35 B-Type Military Omnibus is a highly detailed plastic model kit that represents one of the most iconic early 20th-century military transport vehicles. Originally designed as a civilian double-decker bus by the London General Omnibus Company (LGOC), the B-Type was quickly adapted for military service during World War I, particularly by the British Army. This model captures the wartime-converted version, used extensively on the Western Front for transporting troops, medical personnel, and supplies.

MiniArt's kit meticulously recreates the unique features of the military B-Type omnibus, including the enclosed driver's cab, wooden troop benches on the upper deck, and reconfigured bodywork for durability and utility in field conditions. Unlike its civilian counterpart, the military version omitted advertising panels and civilian signage, and often had protective reinforcements or weather coverings added. The model captures all these subtle distinctions, allowing for historically accurate representation.

The kit is designed in 1/35 scale and includes a full interior, showcasing the crew compartment, seating, steering controls, and structural framework. Detailed plastic parts are supplemented with photo-etched components, enabling modelers to add fine detail to railings, steps, and fixtures. If you change your mind after making a purchase, or realise you have ordered the incorrect item, you can enjoy the peace of mind that we offer a 7 day exchange policy.

To exchange a product, goods must be sealed / unopened, with packaging in original condition, and accompanied by a valid receipt dated no more than 7 calendar days from when you request an exchange.

If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase.
