Plastruct E-28 elbows feature a fitting design that supports temporary press-fit assembly. This makes it easy to experiment with layouts before permanently fixing components. However, for secure and long-lasting results, the manufacturer recommends cementing the final assembly.

Precision and Material Details

Each elbow is carefully injection molded using high-quality butyrate plastic, ensuring durability and a precise fit. For sizes 3 through 24, the elbows are produced as solid single pieces. Larger elbow fittings, specifically sizes 28 through 40, are molded in two halves and then assembled into a hollow form. This provides both structural stability and the flexibility to connect multiple fittings for complex piping or frame layouts.

Special Considerations and Sizing

It's important to note that the 'H Dimension' in the specifications refers directly to the outside diameter (O.D.) of the compatible tubing. Also, elbow fittings are not produced for TB-1 and TB-2 tubing as these have internal wire cores, making such connections impractical. Size E-28 is specifically matched for TB-28 tubing, and these fittings are suitable for use in any modeling scale.

To exchange a product, goods must be sealed / unopened, with packaging in original condition, and accompanied by a valid receipt dated no more than 7 calendar days from when you request an exchange.
