Turning the Tables

As the German Army struck deep in to Russian territory following their surprise invasion of June 1941, they began to capture a large haul of equipment which included more than a thousand 7.62cm F22 guns. The resourceful troops were quick to recognize their potential in fighting powerful Russian adversaries such as the T34 and KV-1 tanks, particularly when compared to their own, dissatisfactory options. The F22 was upgraded and renamed the Pak36(r), the new weapon able to propel the Pz.gr.39 armor piercing round through 98mm of 60-degree armor at 500m. The Pak36(r) was not only turned on its former Russian masters, it also saw action in North Africa where it led numerous British Matilda tanks to their end. It was also mounted in the effective self-propelled gun Marder III.

- In addition to excellently recreated Pak36(r) gun and 8 figures, this set includes extra parts depicting sand bags, and a sheet to recreate the sandy desert surface.
- The gun uses a number of parts for a realistic finish.
- A plethora of accessories are included to replicate armor-piercing and explosive rounds, as well as empty shell cases, rangefinder and more.
- Can be used with separately-sold texture paints for a highly authentic appearance.
- Pak36(r) parts are a product of ICM.
