Rally Racer
This R/C model assembly kit depicts the GR Yaris Rally1 Hybrid, which was developed by Toyota to take part in 2022 global rally races. The souped up form of this rally car is recreated expertly by a polycarbonate body, and the model is based upon the shaft-driven 4WD TT-02 chassis. Plentiful stickers are included to decorate the car, as are gun metal color fin spoke wheels and racing radial tires.
TT-02: Adaptable, balanced shaft driven 4WD
The shaft-driven 4WD TT-02 chassis employs a longitudinal layout with the battery on the left and the motor on the right, to give excellent stability. In addition, it features identical left and right suspension arms and uprights for ease of assembly, plus easy-to-maintain gearboxes. It is a highly adaptable chassis, as it offers 2 different wheelbases, 2 ground clearance settings and 2 tread set-ups in addition to a range of 10 possible gear ratios. It is not short on looks either, with brake disc-shaped wheel hubs and stylish front bumper supports. Dark gun metal color fin-spoke wheels use racing radial tires.
The complex form of the car is artfully captured by a polycarbonate body.
Separately molded polycarbonate headlight cases are painted and stickered for a realistic finish.
Separate parts are used to recreate the tall, slim side mirrors.
Body side air ducts are recreated using separately molded plastic parts.
The complex rear features depictions of the large wing, bumper and more.

Resin ball links in the steering linkage joints make for smooth, comfortable motion.
The front suspension uses coil-sprung dampers.
Motor cover includes removable cooling duct (not attached in image).
