This truck was the first mass produced truck in the Soviet Union and the standard workhorse of the Red Army during WWII. On 29th January 1932 the first GAZ-AA truck was manufactured. This truck would finish the war as the most mass produced in the world. This 1.5 ton capacity truck was affectionately nick named Polutorka (one and a half). The truck was incredibly durable, easily maintained, with excellent all-terrain capabilities, and running on low octane fuel. The legendary Polutorka, together with the T-34 tank and the Katyusha rocket launcher, became one of the great symbols of the Great Patriotic War.
