ADATA UV128 32GB USB 3.2 Flash Drive Black/Blue

I bought 02 ADATA 32GB from PB Tech. Have been a long standing customer of PB which I rate as a A+. However this product was a dissaster for me. I am in IT support and struggled for several hours and many days to establish a bootable OS from USB. Reported various errors and took a long time verytime. Tried on the 2nd unit thinking is a hardware fault on the first. Same outcome. Bought a SanDisk from The Warehouse, worked like a charm first time. Reported to PB but the procedure to return product (How can one find a fault with the original packagig in tact!) is not worth the effort. Disappointed with this brand. The old batch I got was great as the write speed was about 32MB/s but at some point they changed the internal components now the write speed is about 10MB/s.

I was looking for a USB 3.0 or later drive at reasonable price and this one came up on the PB website. Seems OK but I have not used it much to test it. So useful having drives to hand that are ready to hand over to the photographer who is offering his RAW shots of the show for free. No mucking around. Got two of these for kids starting college, handy retractable USB connection - will be interesting to see how well they last and whether they trap dust and stuff without a cap.
