Used two of these as mirrored read/write cache in my oldish Synology NAS (918+) to improve performance and allow the disks to sleep (minor log writes were causing constant, but very small disk writes that prevented the hard drives entering energy-saving mode) These are working perfectly and given a definate lift in performance. Does exactly as specified on the sales page. Meets all my intended needs (internal mirror to another logical partition). Good and reliable for it's price.

My only note is that if you will be using it heavily, like with many SSDs make sure the air flow for heat removal is sufficient, and consider if you need a heat sink. Used this to upgrade the amount and speed of storage in a cheap laptop. Working well. Slower than more expensive models, but is fairly good value for the price at time of purchase mid-2025, and it's still M.2 NVMe speeds.
