I have a Samsung G9 1st Gen 49inch monitor and kept the stock stand, but I didn't have the flexibility to manoeuvre the monitor or get behind it until I came across this monitor stand. It holds it and keeps it steady. Now I can access the back of it and get to the cable ports with ease, without having to fight with the monitor to get to things. It does exactly what I need it to do. Awesome piece of kit. Picked it up at the Albany PB tech for my G95C after trying to find an arm that I could trust would actually hold the monitor. Feels very sturdy, I mounted mine through my desk, just had to drill a 10mm hole for the bolt to go through. Had to wind the tension spring quite a bit to get it sitting right. looks quite good also. not much of an RGB person but its a cool feature, if you're that way inclined. For a product in this price range, the heavy use of plastic is unacceptable. At MSRP, I cannot recommend these; they feel like a budget product disguised with a nice design. Bought this Arm for the Samsung 49 OLED which weighs a massive 18kg. It's able to hold the monitor at a mid height and tilt does not slip. Highly recommend. Great to pair with Samsung wide monitor with built in webcam - easy to move screen around.
Looked complicated to setup but wasn't that bad at all.

I first bought this monitor arm late last year, and so when I bought another 49" monitor I knew I wanted to get another one of these monitor arms.

They are fairly easy to set up (just follow the instructions), very adjustable and do exactly what I need it to do.
