This tablet stand does what it says, but it comes with various disadvantages and there are much better options out there. I wanted a second tripod to use with his iPad. This does the job but...:
- It is a one-trick pony -- you can't remove the iPad grip, so it's useless to use with any other device. You cannot mount a standard phone on here, for example. It would make more sense to buy just the grip and then use a standard tripod.
- The grip is fine as long as you do NOT have your iPad in a case. - The quality of the build is adequate but no more. The grip is plastic and will almost certainly break at some point (and, as I said, doesn't come off). The neck of the stand is robust enough, but it becomes a little wobbly when fully extended.
If this were 50 bucks then all good, but for the price, there are much better options out there.

We use the stand to allow us to have a tablet mounted at head height for video conferencing. It works perfectly there is plenty of tilt and swivel and it is all solidly made. Nothing feels flimsy. The clamp that holds the tablet has a very firm spring (which is good) but if you want to unmount the tablet briefly the clamp can be unclipped from the stand.
